Blended Cement

Blended cement is produced by intergrinding or blending Portland cement clinker with a supplementary cementitious material — commonly fly ash or slag — at the cement plant, rather than adding it separately at the batch plant. It offers a convenient, pre-proportioned way to get the durability and sustainability benefits of an SCM.
