Corrosion Inhibitor (Admixture)

A corrosion inhibitor is an admixture that slows the electrochemical corrosion process of embedded rebar, typically by forming a protective film on the steel surface or by chemically interfering with the corrosion reaction. It's common in bridge decks, parking structures, and other elements exposed to de-icing salts or marine chlorides.
