Fly Ash

Fly ash is a fine, powdery byproduct of burning pulverized coal, captured from power plant exhaust and used as a supplementary cementitious material (SCM) in concrete. Replacing a portion of Portland cement with fly ash typically improves workability and long-term strength and durability while reducing heat of hydration and the concrete's embodied carbon.
