Footing

A footing is the widened base of a foundation, poured below grade, that spreads a structure's load over a larger area of soil than the wall or column above it — reducing bearing pressure and preventing settlement.

Footings are typically the first concrete element poured on a job and often generate an early, isolated washout event before the rest of the foundation work begins.

Compiled by the Reborn Rental team, backed by our field engineers and dispatch staff working Denver-metro concrete washout and equipment rental jobs.
