Concrete Glossary

Integral Color

Integral color is pigment added directly into the concrete mix at the batch plant or jobsite, so the resulting color runs consistently through the full depth of the slab — as opposed to a color hardener or stain applied only at the surface, which can wear through over time.

Compiled by the Reborn Rental team, backed by our field engineers and dispatch staff working Denver-metro concrete washout and equipment rental jobs.
