Portland Cement

Portland cement is a hydraulic cement made by heating limestone and clay-like materials in a kiln to form clinker, then grinding that clinker with a small amount of gypsum. It's the primary binding ingredient in most concrete mixes, reacting with water through hydration to bind aggregate into a hardened mass.
