Quality Control (QC) Testing

Quality control (QC) testing covers the on-site and laboratory checks used to confirm a concrete batch meets its specified mix design — commonly slump testing, air-content testing, temperature checks, and casting cylinders that are later broken in a lab to verify compressive strength at 7 and 28 days.

QC results are typically tied to the same batch ticket and pour location, which is also useful documentation if a washout or disposal question ever comes up for that load.
